PRCO R&D centre, which called “Puyang Refractories Group Co., Ltd R&D centre”, was regarded as the Henan Province Level R&D Centre in April of 2002, and was State Level R&D Centre in September of 2008.

Now there are 143 technician, 126 research and project planner in this centre, including 2 refractory specialists who did research as a visiting scholar in America, 4 Doctors, and 23 Masters. The centre covers an area of 8000 m2, its subsidiary testing centre of high temperature ceramic material was regarded as State level with self-contained testing equipments, the total equipments assets is 42 million. From the year of 2003, we got more than 60 technical projects on State level, provincial level, and municipal level. And we got more than 32 high tech-achievements on State level and provincial level.

We have cooperation with some universities, like: Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology.
